Agentic Resource Discovery: Let agents search

A new open specification called Agentic Resource Discovery (ARD) allows AI agents to dynamically find the tools, skills, and even other agents they need at runtime. This standard provides a discovery layer that lets an agent search for capabilities using natural language, moving beyond the limitations of pre-installed or hardcoded tools. Hugging Face has implemented this with its "Discover Tool," which makes thousands of skills and applications on the Hub searchable through a simple command-line interface or REST API. By separating discovery from execution, ARD creates a federated ecosystem where agents can find and use resources from various services without prior configuration.
