Mistral AI has introduced Mistral Medium 3.5, a new 128B open-weight model optimized for complex code and productivity tasks. This model powers new remote agents in Mistral Vibe, enabling asynchronous and parallel task execution in the cloud that can be launched from the CLI or the Le Chat interface. Le Chat also gains a new "Work" mode, which functions as a powerful agent for multi-step projects involving research, analysis, and the use of multiple tools. The new model demonstrates strong performance on coding benchmarks and is designed for self-hosting.
