A recent IDC study reveals a significant gap, as over half of executives prioritize Sovereign AI, yet many cannot clearly define the concept. The study defines it as an organization's ability to have complete control over the design, deployment, operation, and governance of its AI systems. Different roles within organizations interpret Sovereign AI differently, with business leaders focusing on data security while IT leaders emphasize infrastructure and operational control.
