AI Decision Advantage in NATO

NATO can gain a decisive advantage in modern conflict by investing in agentic AI to improve its decision-making speed. Agentic AI systems can serve as a digital staff, rapidly processing sensor data, testing thousands of scenarios, and adapting plans under human authority. This capability compresses the time between insight and action, creating deterrence through superior decision speed. Adopting a common, interoperable framework for agentic AI would allow NATO to become an 'Agentic Coalition' and turn its military mass into coordinated, rapid action.
