ALIF: Building AI Fluency, One Cohort at a Time

ALIF is a Generative AI foundations program from Scale AI designed to build AI fluency among government professionals. The program aims to help organizations move beyond experimental pilots to full enterprise adoption by focusing on workforce training and change management. It offers two distinct tracks: ALIF Core for business and policy staff, and ALIF Tech for ICT professionals, covering topics from AI foundations to retrieval-augmented generation and AI agents. First launched in Qatar, the program has successfully upskilled hundreds of government employees, demonstrating measurable increases in AI competency. The curriculum is grounded in real-world public sector use cases to ensure the learning is practical and directly applicable to participants' work.
