Announcing Data Annotation Queues

LangSmith has introduced a new feature called Data Annotation Queues to help developers move LLM applications from prototype to production. This tool is designed to make it easy to review logs, provide feedback, and create curated datasets. Having application-specific datasets is crucial for improving performance through techniques like few-shot prompting or fine-tuning models. The queue provides a user interface to review datapoints, add annotations, and edit examples before adding them to a dataset for downstream use. An open-source alternative called `langfree` is also mentioned, which offers similar functionality for local and customizable workflows.
