Announcing Jurassic-2 and Task-Specific APIs

AI21 Labs has released Jurassic-2, a new family of state-of-the-art Large Language Models with improved quality, reduced latency, and new capabilities. The J2 models come in three sizes (Large, Grande, and Jumbo) and feature zero-shot instruction-following and multilingual support for languages like Spanish, French, and German. Alongside the new models, the company launched Task-Specific APIs, including the Wordtune API set, which provides specialized functions for paraphrasing, summarizing, and grammatical error correction. These APIs are designed to outperform competitors like OpenAI's Davinci-003 in areas such as summary faithfulness and paraphrasing latency.
