Architecting Fast, Secure Cloud Sandboxes for AI Development with Namespace

Running multiple AI coding agents in parallel creates challenges in managing their environments and workflows. To address this, Warp developed "ambient agents" that operate in fast, secure cloud sandboxes, capable of being triggered by external tools like Slack and Linear. The architecture is powered by the Namespace platform, chosen for its high-performance compute, multi-tenant isolation, and security capabilities. This setup allows agents to run in any user-provided Linux environment via Docker and sidecar volumes, while ensuring security through isolated sandboxes and short-lived credentials.
