Claude Opus 4.1

Anthropic has released Claude Opus 4.1, a minor incremental update to its predecessor, Opus 4. Benchmark comparisons show very small gains in areas like coding, reasoning, and multilingual Q&A, with even a slight decrease in one tool-use metric. The model is priced identically to Opus 4, remaining one of the more expensive options available. A simple generative test of drawing a pelican on a bicycle did not show a clear improvement over the previous version.
