DeepSeek-V3.1 Release

DeepSeek-V3.1 introduces a hybrid inference model with distinct "Think" and "Non-Think" modes for different task complexities. This new version boasts stronger agent skills for tool use and multi-step tasks, along with faster overall performance compared to previous models. API updates include new endpoints for the two modes, support for the Anthropic API format, and strict function calling capabilities. The base model weights have been open-sourced on Hugging Face, and new pricing will take effect in September 2025.
