From the Hugging Face Hub to robot hardware with Strands Agents and LeRobot

Strands Robots is a new open-source SDK from AWS designed to unify the fragmented process of teaching robots new tasks. It streamlines development by composing robot abstractions, simulation, and the LeRobot stack into a single, cohesive agent. This allows for a complete workflow within one agent, from recording demonstrations and training a policy to deploying it on physical hardware. A key innovation is the ability to use the exact same agent code for both simulation and real-world robots, enabling a seamless transition from a virtual environment to actual hardware.
