Granite Speech 5.0: Transcribe, Translate, and Attribute more Accurately and Faster

IBM has released updates to its Granite Speech collection, introducing a new model and revising two existing ones for enterprise speech applications. The new flagship model, granite-speech-5.0-2b, provides more accurate multilingual transcription and translation with improved robustness to noise and reverberation. An updated model, granite-speech-5.0-470m-turboctc, is designed for high-throughput and on-device transcription, now with multilingual capabilities. The third model, granite-speech-4.1-2b-plus, has been improved for better speaker attribution and timestamping in multi-speaker recordings like meetings.
