How the Community is Driving ACP Forward

https://zed.dev/blog/acp-progress-report(zed.dev)
The Agent Client Protocol (ACP) was created to standardize how AI agents integrate with code editors, allowing agents to focus on logic while editors handle the user experience. Since its launch, the protocol has seen significant community adoption on both the client and agent sides. Various editors like Neovim, Emacs, and marimo notebooks have implemented ACP support, expanding its reach beyond the original Zed editor. Several AI agents, including Gemini CLI, Claude Code, and Goose, are now compatible, with ongoing efforts to integrate others like Codex and Aider.
