How the World Juggling Federation Fills Empty Seats for Broadcast Television

The World Juggling Federation used the AI platform Runway to solve a production challenge for its ESPN broadcast by digitally filling empty seats with a generated crowd. Founder Jason Garfield utilized Runway's video generation models to make a sparsely attended event appear sold-out, preserving camera angles that would have otherwise been unusable. In addition to creating the crowd, he also used the AI tool to produce the entire graphics package, including animated leaderboards, title cards, and competitor profiles.
