I built a better Claude Code and Codex app

Threadbear is a free, MIT-licensed Mac and iPhone application designed as an agentic development environment for interacting with AI models like Claude Code and Codex. The app syncs threads and context across devices using a Convex backend, aiming to provide a faster and more efficient user experience than existing tools. Key features include a native UI, automatic project organization via a "librarian" agent, and a "decisions" panel to streamline user feedback. It also incorporates a comparison view for evaluating model outputs and a system called "patches" for creating custom, project-specific tooling.
