Introducing Agentex: Open-Source Infrastructure for Enterprise AI Agents

Scale AI has introduced and open-sourced Agentex, an infrastructure framework for building, deploying, and managing enterprise AI agents. It is designed to solve the challenges of connecting, securing, and maintaining reliable suites of agents in production environments. The framework supports long-running, asynchronous, and persistent agents capable of handling complex workflows, such as autonomous insurance claims processing. Agentex includes a Python SDK, a CLI, an Agent Server, and a developer UI, with an open-source version for developers and a managed enterprise edition available through the Scale GenAI Platform.
