Introducing Embed 5—A new family of frontier embedding models

Cohere has introduced Embed 5, a new family of frontier embedding models designed for enterprise use. These models deliver state-of-the-art retrieval performance across various data types. The capabilities extend to multimodal, multilingual, and financial documents, aiming to improve semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems. Embed 5 is now available in both Pro and Fast tiers for developers and businesses.
