Introducing Open SWE: An Open-Source Asynchronous Coding Agent

Open SWE is an open-source, asynchronous coding agent designed to function like a human software engineer. It connects directly to GitHub repositories to research a codebase, create a detailed execution plan, write code, run tests, and open a pull request. Built on LangGraph, the system uses a multi-agent architecture with a Manager, Planner, and Programmer/Reviewer to handle complex tasks and allow for human-in-the-loop control. The agent runs in a secure cloud sandbox, enabling it to work on multiple tasks in parallel without consuming local resources.
