Jules, our asynchronous coding agent, is now available for everyone

The term "asynchronous coding agent" is gaining traction to describe AI tools that assist with software development. Google is now using this phrase for its Jules tool, which recently graduated from beta. Other notable examples of this pattern include LangChain's new open-source "Open SWE" and a feature within GitHub Copilot. This more specific terminology is considered useful because it clarifies the function of these tools, which is an improvement over the vague term "agent."
