Mistral AI has launched "La Plateforme," a new service providing beta access to its AI model endpoints. The platform offers three generative chat endpoints with different performance and cost levels: mistral-tiny, mistral-small, and the high-performance mistral-medium. These instruction-tuned models support multiple languages and code generation, with performance compared using standard benchmarks like MT-Bench. Additionally, the platform includes a mistral-embed endpoint specifically designed for retrieval tasks with a 1024 embedding dimension.
