LangChain Skills

LangChain is releasing its first set of "skills" to give AI coding agents expertise in the open source LangChain ecosystem, including LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents. Skills are curated instructions, scripts, and resources that are dynamically loaded by an agent only when relevant to a specific task, which avoids the performance degradation seen when agents are given too many tools. Using these skills on an internal evaluation set boosted the Claude Code model's performance from a 29% to a 95% pass rate. The skills are portable, shareable, and can be installed via a command-line tool to enhance agent capabilities.
