LangSmith CLI & Skills

A new LangSmith Command Line Interface (CLI) and a concept called "skills" have been released to give AI coding agents expertise within the LangSmith ecosystem. Skills are curated instructions and scripts that improve agent performance on specialized tasks like tracing, dataset curation, and evaluation. These tools are designed to be agent-native, allowing coding agents to fluently navigate LangSmith entirely through the terminal. The use of these skills was shown to dramatically improve a coding agent's performance on a set of tasks from a 17% to a 92% pass rate. This enables a development cycle where agents can be used to add tracing, create tests, and evaluate other agents.
