Meet Cohere Transcribe Arabic

Cohere has released Transcribe Arabic, a new open-source Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) model. It is designed to be the most accurate open-weights model for Arabic-language transcription, capable of handling dialect variations and bilingual Arabic-English speech. The model reportedly outperforms leading alternatives like Whisper, with human reviewers preferring it in 96% of tests. Transcribe Arabic is available under the Apache 2.0 license on Hugging Face and can also be accessed via the Cohere API.
