An interactive Halloween projection called MonsterHouse was created using NVIDIA's Nemotron open models. The system features a grumpy, talking garage door that listens to trick-or-treaters, generates replies, and animates a mouth in real-time. It utilizes a full pipeline including Nemotron ASR for speech-to-text, the Nemotron 3.5 Bolt E4B small language model for conversation, Magpie TTS for voice synthesis, and Audio2Face-3D for animation. The character's unique personality was developed by training a LoRA adapter on a custom dataset of conversations. This entire AI-powered experience runs locally on a single workstation.
