North Mini Code. Cohere's first model for developers.

Cohere has launched North Mini Code, its first open-source, agentic coding model designed for developers. This mixture-of-experts (MoE) model features 30 billion total parameters with only 3 billion active, making it efficient enough to run without extensive hardware. Released under an Apache 2.0 license, the model supports sovereign AI development by giving developers direct access to its capabilities. Developers can download the model weights from Hugging Face, deploy it via Model Vault, or access it through an API key.
