**NVIDIA Earth-2 Open Models Span the Whole Weather Stack**

NVIDIA is revolutionizing weather forecasting with its new family of open-source Earth-2 AI models. The Earth-2 Nowcasting model uses generative AI to provide kilometer-scale predictions of severe storms up to six hours in advance, outperforming traditional methods. For longer-term outlooks, the Earth-2 Medium Range model delivers highly accurate 15-day global forecasts across more than 70 weather variables. Completing the suite, a new data assimilation model generates initial atmospheric conditions in seconds, enabling a fully open and customizable AI pipeline for sovereign weather prediction.
