NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Embed Ranks #1 Overall on RTEB, Advancing Agentic Retrieval

NVIDIA has released Nemotron 3 Embed, a collection of open and commercially available embedding models designed to improve retrieval quality. These models are intended for production-scale RAG, agentic retrieval, code retrieval, and agent memory. The flagship 8B model has achieved the #1 ranking on the RTEB leaderboard, demonstrating state-of-the-art performance. The collection also includes efficient 1B variants to provide developers with practical deployment options that balance accuracy and efficiency. Better retrieval is critical for multi-step agentic workflows to avoid fetching irrelevant context and wasting token budgets.
