OlmoEarth v1.3: State-of-the-art embeddings for the whole planet

OlmoEarth v1.3 is a state-of-the-art satellite embedding model that processes annual radar and multispectral satellite time series data. It utilizes a vision transformer architecture to produce 128-dimensional vector embeddings for every 10-meter pixel on Earth, compressing the data into reusable features. The model outperforms competitors across numerous evaluation benchmarks while being significantly more efficient and cheaper to train than previous versions. To facilitate use, precomputed annual embeddings for the entire planet are available, along with a browser-based OlmoEarth Embeddings Explorer for visualizing and analyzing changes over time.
