OncoAgent is an open-source clinical decision support system designed for oncology that prioritizes privacy and on-premises deployment. The framework utilizes a dual-tier multi-agent architecture, routing queries to either a speed-optimized or a deep-reasoning LLM based on complexity. Its responses are grounded in a knowledge base of clinical guidelines through a four-stage Corrective Retrieval-Augmented Generation (CRAG) pipeline. Both models were fine-tuned using QLoRA on a large corpus of oncological cases, with training optimized on AMD MI300X hardware to enable rapid deployment. A layered safety system with a human-in-the-loop gate enforces a strict zero-PHI policy to protect patient data.
