Ready to build trustworthy AI systems?

The winner of AI21 Labs’ first hackathon was WebIndexer, an AI-based question-answering tool designed to help users find information on a webpage using natural language questions. The event featured over 1,900 participants and 24 projects, which were judged on innovation, real-world problem-solving, and code quality. Other finalists included Kitchen Genie, an AI solution to reduce food waste by suggesting meals from available ingredients, and MedBrief, a tool for summarizing lengthy patient reports. These projects highlight the diverse and practical applications of generative AI in solving real-world issues.
