Scale AI Partners with Singapore's IMDA to Advance AI Evaluation for Southeast Asia

Scale AI has partnered with Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) to advance AI evaluation research tailored for Southeast Asia. The collaboration's initial focus is on developing a large-scale legal benchmark to test how AI models understand and apply Singapore law. This initiative addresses the challenge of AI systems underperforming in regions and contexts that are underrepresented in training data. The partnership will also explore joint research into agentic AI, multilingual AI safety, and model evaluation methods, with the goal of creating a more rigorous and globally relevant evaluation ecosystem.
