AI21 Labs has introduced Jamba2, an open-source family of language models designed for enterprise reliability and efficiency. Built on a novel SSM-Transformer architecture, Jamba2 is available in two sizes, a 3B dense model and a 52B/12A Mixture-of-Experts model, both released under the Apache 2.0 license. The models feature a 256K context window and are designed to excel in instruction-following and grounding benchmarks, making them suitable for precise question-answering workflows. Jamba2 demonstrates a strong reliability-to-throughput ratio and shows superior performance in human evaluations on enterprise tasks compared to similar models.
