Towards Spec-Driven Test Automation: Part 2

https://towardsdatascience.com/towards-spec-driven-test-automation-part-2/(towardsdatascience.com)
A powerful testing methodology enforces separation by having one AI agent write code from requirements while a separate agent tests it against acceptance criteria the first agent never sees. This process demonstrates its value when the coding agent, after failing an unseen test, correctly deduces and repairs a flaw in its logic without any direct instruction. The success of this approach hinges on unambiguous specifications, as vague requirements can confuse both the coding and testing agents, leading to inevitable failures. This workflow can also audit existing code to find definite bugs, though a passing test is considered weaker since the original programmer may not have been isolated from the test criteria.
