Transforming Industries with Generative AI: An AI21 and AWS Hackathon

AI21 Labs and AWS hosted a hackathon for practitioners to explore real-world applications of Generative AI across various industries. The event focused on key use cases such as improving customer support, grounded content generation using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and implementing guardrails for Large Language Models. A major theme was the importance of grounding LLMs in enterprise data to avoid hallucinations and the strategic use of Task Specific Models (TSMs) for reliable outcomes. Participants gained hands-on experience integrating AI21 models with native AWS services to solve complex problems.
