Under the Uzès Sun: When Historical Data Reveals the Climate Change

A data analysis project uses historical temperature data from Méteo-France to investigate climate change trends in Uzès, France. The process involves acquiring public data, structuring it into a robust OLAP cube containing over 500 million records, and using the MDX query language for analysis. The core calculation compares daily temperatures against a 30-year historical average (1991-2020) to determine the temperature delta. This project serves as a blueprint for analyzing large historical datasets and culminates in a plan to create a 2D grid visualization to display an entire year's temperature anomalies.
