Vibe gets to work.

Mistral has launched Vibe, an AI agent designed for long-running, multi-step work that evolves from their previous "Le Chat" product. The agent operates in two primary modes: a "Work Mode" for tasks like enterprise knowledge search and report synthesis, and a "Code Mode" for software development. In Work Mode, Vibe integrates with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and SharePoint to automate complex administrative and analytical processes. The Code Mode functions as a coding assistant within a web app, the terminal, or a new VS Code extension, capable of building features and fixing bugs. Vibe is powered by Mistral's flagship models, which are specifically optimized for complex reasoning, tool use, and agentic functions.
