Runway has introduced Solaris, the first in a new family of AI systems called Interface World Models. This model generates interactive interfaces like apps and websites in real-time, frame by frame, removing the need for traditional code. Solaris works by combining a language model for reasoning with a world model for rendering, allowing it to create dynamic, visually rich experiences that respond directly to user interactions. This approach overcomes the speed and coherence limitations of previous video generation models and opens up new possibilities for building software and training AI agents in more adaptive environments.
